Who We Are
Green WaterHut is a community-first organisation focused on delivering locally appropriate, evidence-based solutions across water, sanitation, health, food and energy. We partner with communities in Ghana's Bono and Savannah regions to co-design and sustain interventions that protect ecosystems and strengthen livelihoods.

Our History
Green WaterHut has worked across Ghana since 2009. Our roots are in the Black Volta Basin, with work including mercury reduction in artisanal mining, a plastic-waste-to-fuel innovation, and co-founding the EcoYouth Africa Initiative. We combine field research, technical design and community capacity-building to scale durable, locally-led solutions.
